PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Mucinex® Multi-Action™ Wet & Dry Cough Liquid* is a cough expectorant and chest cough suppressant that helps battle symptoms associated with both wet & dry coughs.
*Temporarily relieves cold symptoms: wet and dry cough, chest congestion, loosen phlegm or mucus and thin lung secretions.

Guaifenesin (400 mg)….Expectorant
Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (20 mg)....Cough suppressant
Inactive ingredients
Anhydrous citric acid, edetate disodium, FD&C Red No. 40, flavors, glycerin, propyl gallate, propylene glycol, purified water, sodium benzoate, sorbitol, sucralose, trisodium citrate dihydrate‡, xanthan gum.

USAGE INFORMATION
Adults and children 12 years and over:
■ Take 20 mL every 6 hours.
■ Do not take more than 4 doses (80 mL) in any 24 hours.
■ Do not use in children under 12 years of age.
■ Use only the measuring device provided.
■ Store between 20-25°C
■ Do not refrigerate

SAFETY INFORMATION
Do not use
■ with a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (drugs for depression or Parkinson’s disease) or for two (2) weeks after stopping the MAOI drug
■ with other cough and cold products.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have
■ a persistent cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma or emphysema
■ a cough with excessive phlegm (mucus)
■ difficulty breathing or other chronic lung conditions. These could be signs of a serious condition.
■ are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Stop use and ask a doctor if
■ symptoms worsen or last more than 7 days
■ you have a high fever (>38º C), or a headache that does not go away
■ you cough up thick yellow or green mucus
■ you develop a rash.
Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a poison control centre or get medical help right away.
