PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Mucinex® Multi-Action™ Congestion, Stuffy Nose & Cough Liquid* is a liquid medicine for sinus congestion & pressure, wet and dry coughs, and chest congestion. It loosens phlegm or mucus and thin lung secretions and helps clear up stuffiness.
*Temporarily relieves cold symptoms: cough / wet and dry cough, chest congestion, loosen phlegm or mucus and thin lung secretions, nasal congestion / stuffiness / stuffy nose, sinus congestion & pressure.

Guaifenesin (400 mg)….Expectorant Phenylephrine
Hydrochloride (10 mg)....Nasal decongestant
Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (20 mg)....Cough suppressant

Anhydrous citric acid, edetate disodium, FD&C
Red No. 40, flavors, glycerin, propyl gallate,
propylene glycol, purified water, sodium
benzoate, sorbitol, sucralose, trisodium citrate
dihydrate‡, xanthan gum.

USAGE INFORMATION
Adults and children 12 years and over:
■ Take 20 mL every 6 hours.
■ Do not take more than 4 doses (80 mL) in any 24-hour period.
■ Do not use in children under 12 years of age.
■ Use only the measuring device provided.
■ Store between 20-25°C
■ Do not refrigerate

SAFETY INFORMATION
Do not use
■ with a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (drugs for depression or Parkinson’s disease) or for two (2) weeks after stopping the MAOI drug
■ with other cough and cold products.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have
■ persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis or emphysema
■ cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus)
■ difficulty breathing or other chronic lung conditions. These could be signs of a serious condition.
■ heart disease
■ high blood pressure
■ thyroid disease
■ diabetes
■ asthma
■ trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland
■ are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Stop use and ask a doctor if
■ symptoms worsen or last more than 7 days
■ you develop a fever (>38°C), rash, or a headache that won't go away
■ you cough up thick yellow or green mucus
■ you are nervous, dizzy or can’t sleep.
Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a poison control centre or get medical help right away. Read the complete label prior to use and follow all label instructions.
